May 2014
Saved by the righteous sacrifice of Christ, and the great mercy and love of God, I am an 18-year-old girl,  blessed to have been placed in a family of eleven here. My family is made up of Daddy and Mommy, Tori, Bethi, Andrew, Abbi, Emmi, Peter, little Josiah, a new little one due in March 2016 :), as well as the two precious tiny babies we have never seen but are looking forward to meeting at the throne of God in Christ's timing, Micah and Michal. And of course, myself (Bri)!

My parents have homeschooled/are homeschooling all of us from preschool up, for which I am so thankful! They are training us up in the ways of the Lord, and they are striving in all things to be for us the parents God has told them to be, to raise us up to be men and women of God. I love studying history, and I am looking forward to being done with math, haha! I am working on graduating, and am looking forward to what the Lord brings after that :).

Our family is striving to give God all the glory in our lives. We have seen him doing a mighty work in our lives over the years! The Lord moved us from South Carolina to Virginia in 2013, a move that took place later than hoped for, but perfectly in God's timing.

My spare time can be found being spent in many ways. I love to stay busy :). Writing is almost always happening in someway or another! I enjoying doing things with my family, being in our church choir, doing yard work, cooking and reading, working on Bible studies with friends and family, and saddening my wonderful-piano-playing sister with my sad attempts at the same ;). I love people, and color, and laughing :). I have many faults, and I do not want to hide that fact. All sinners do! But, the Lord is leading me on the path to overcome those "thorns in the flesh", and I praise Him for it!

I also enjoy crafting of any sort (crocheting, quilling, tatting, knitting, and sewing, and anything else), and you can see my work on my pinterest board, My Personal Projects, or on my Etsy shop, Under the Tapestry.

I formerly blogged over at "Home Life... So Fun", but decided, after many decisions were made, to move here. Mommy, who is extremely good with coming up with meaningful names, came up with my blog title after I started posting "Thankful Thursday" posts. I loved the idea, had been fishing for a new title, and was ready to move, so all credit goes to my Mama :).

I pray that I may always honor God in all that I write, and I hope that I may bless some of you, even if it is just with a smile :). So take a peak around at my thoughts, ramblings, rejoicings, and stories, to get a little idea of what life is like in our extremely blessed home :)! I do warn you, though, take a good look at this profile, and you should get the idea that I love words :)!... And I'd love to hear from you!
