It is Finished!

May we praise our Lord for the great love he has shown to us, that "we should be called the children of God", because we "who once were far off have been brought near by the blood of Christ"! For "though he was in the form of God, he did not count equality with God a thing to be grasped, but emptied himself, by taking the form of a servant, being born in the likeness of men. And being found in human form, he humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death, even death on a cross. Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

We have "all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God", but "even though "our sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shall become like wool," because "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed"!
